Kawagoe Traditional Experience Tour

 

What to expect

This Kawagoe tour features one-of-a-kind, interactive experiences. Join in o-hayashi (music and dance performances) on a float, see performers in lion costumes and intricate masks (and try them on yourself), attend a book-binding workshop, and dine on a delicious kaiseki meal while trying local sake pairings from Kawagoe’s only brewery.

Schedule

Tours will be conducted in two time slots, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the following days:

  • Wednesday, January 29, 2025
  • Thursday, January 30, 2025

Tickets

Each tour costs ¥52,800 (tax included) per adult and ¥26,400 per child aged 3 to 12. Under 3s are free, but no meals are provided. Book here.
